Silver Yance

Water Resources Engineer · 33 years experience

Silver has 33 years of experience across private and public sectors in Australia, Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Key expertise includes flood risk management and assessment, drainage design, dam spillway adequacy studies, dambreak studies, environmental hydrology, water supply option studies, irrigation, hydropower and mine water management.

Silver is a World Bank and Asian Development Bank Panel of Experts member for water infrastructure projects.

Ian Varley

Hydrologist · 30 years experience

Ian has 30 years of experience in catchment management and water resource planning.

He co-authored the National Water Commission's Guidelines for Low Flow Modelling, managed water supply strategy work for Sydney and Addis Ababa, and led environmental flow studies for multiple Australian rivers.

Ian's project experience also spans dam safety reviews, hydrologic studies, and mining dam design reviews.
